About Urd and World of Elegance
Note: This story can be found both in the manga and anime. This version of their tale is the manga version, however, the anime version is only slightly different.

While Skuld pines to once again be with her beloved angel, Noble Scarlet, Urd tries to make her understand that she is not powerful enough to control her yet. Skuld, so upset, demands to know if Urd would miss her angel if the two were seperated. When Urd becomes silent, Skuld realizes that she has never actually seen Urd's angel, and when she spies o Urd unsuccessfully trying to call upon her angel, Skuld knows Urd doesn't have one. Deciding to do something about her weak powers, Skuld begins to build a machine to enhace her powers. In the meantime, Urd goes to Belldandy for some advice. She asks Belldandy if she was frightened when she got her angel. Belldandy replies that it was wonderful, like meeting a mirror of her soul. Urd mumbles that that's why, for her, it was so terrifying. Once finished with her machine, Skuld gets trapped inside it, and her powers begin to go haywire. Belldandy and her angel, Holy Bell, try to breach the massive water spell, but can't. Belldandy tells Urd to call upon her angel. Urd reveals to Belldandy why she can't call her angel. As a child, Urd always wondered whether she really was half-goddess, half-demon, as so many people had told her. When she swallowed her angel egg, she still hoped that her angel would have white wings, signifying pure goddess blood. When she saw her angel, with one black wing, one white wing, however, she was terrified, and screamed, "I never want to see you again!!!" Urd reminds Belldandy that an angel must obey her mistress's words, absolutley and forever. Belldandy tells Urd that and angel obey's her mistress's soul, not just her words, and encourages Urd to believe. Urd thinks to herself how much she regrets telling her angel to begone, and how she only wants to meet her again. Urd's prayers are answered, as she successfully calls forth World of Elegance, and frees Skuld from the water barrier. And now, Urd and her beloved angel are together, forever...
