Maya is a young woman who works full-time at her Aunt Grace's bookstore in LA, and part-time as a reporter for an online blog called "Way Above Top Secret.Com". A lot like "The National Inquirer," WATS investigates things like aliens and monsters. Maya's big scoop? Monsters that appear from another world through mirrors, and a masked vigilante who protects the innocent civilians of LA from them. While investigating, Maya meets Kit Taylor, a teenager who has also been sucked into the mirror-monster madness, and become a Kamen Rider. After meeting Len, the masked vigilante Maya was investigating, Maya decides to help Kit and Len stop Xaviax from taking over Earth the way he took over Ventara, Len's home and the world behind the mirrors. Maya is inquisitive and outgoing, but also a sweetheart who does her best to help.
