Act 35The episode opens on Mamoru driving his motorcycle, when Mio collapses in front of his bike. Not knowing her true identity, Mamoru takes her to the hospital. Beryl, in the Dark Kingdom, smiles because her plan to steal Mamoru from the Princess is almost complete. Meanwhile, Usagi plans to get up early to go buy Minako concert tickets. Zoicite worries about his Master's safety, and realizes he can't protect him alone. He goes to the hospital, where Minako was chasing after Mamoru, and she transforms, thinking he wants to fight. He grabs her and warns her to stay away from his Master. Minako realizes he too must remember the past life, and they decide to work together to keep the past from repeating itself. Makoto learns about Minako's concert and rushes off to buy tickets. Zoicite has taken Venus to the bridge, where they discuss the past life and how they must prevent it. He asks her to help protect Mamoru, in exchange for a music box. Whoever hears the melody will forget the one they love, but it doesn't work when the heart is guarded against it. Both Usagi and Makoto, separately, learn that the concert is sold out. Minako asks Usagi to come have dinner with her, and during their meal, Usagi tells her how her songs have helped her with her relationship with Mamoru. Meanwhile, Mio comes to Mamoru and reaches out her hand to him. Mamoru smacks her hand away. Not to be swayed, Mio grabs him and Beryl is able to hug him through the use of her shadow and place a spell on Mamoru. Zoicite realizes that Mio is Beryl's shadow and has hypnotized Mamoru. While holding the music box, Usagi startles Minako and she drops it, placing Usagi under the spell. In the meantime, Mio is taking Mamoru away. As Minako watches Usagi under the spell, Zoicite uses soul flight to come and beg Minako to help the Master. Usagi begins to run off, realizes Mamoru is in danger. Minako is torn between her promise to Zoicite and her mission to protect the Princess, and decides to ignore him for the Princess. Usagi begins to cry as her memories of Mamoru start to burn and fade. Kunzite intercedes Mio's capture of Mamoru, claiming that he would destroy the Master. Jadeite rushes in to protect Mio, telling Kunzite to back off. They begin to fight and Mamoru is hurt by accident. Usagi cries and starts to sing "C'est la Vie," trying to hold onto her memories. Minako is touched and drops the music box, which shatters, breaking both Usagi and Mamoru's spells. Sailor Moon rushes in and Mamoru transforms into Prince Endymion. Mio flees the scene. The two, with the help of Sailor Venus, fend off Kunzite and Jadeite. Soon, Beryl calls them back. Venus hands Usagi an envelope saying it is an apology for what had happened. Usagi opens it and reveals two tickets to Minako's concert. She wonders aloud how Venus got them. Mamoru laughs, saying "Well, it is her concert." Usagi is confused, Mamoru replies that he's known her identity all along, and is surprised that she didn't. Usagi's eyes widen in surprise and she squeals "No way!" At Minako's concert, Usagi and Mamoru rush in, and are horrified when Minako suddenly collapses onstage. |
